Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has withdrawn from the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primaries scheduled for Thursday.
In a personally signed statement titled “My decision to withdraw from the Rivers State Gubernatorial Primaries,” released on Wednesday night, Fubara announced his withdrawal and declared he would fully support whoever emerges as the party’s candidate.
#Me:Wise decision. He would have been disgraced, and go home with his head totally down! Let him go and sin no more. Enjoy what he has acquired from brick house in peace, and all the packages that come as a formal governor of the state.
