In a significant and positive development, the judge has granted a variation of the previous bail conditions while adjourning the full hearing on the new charges. A ruling on the fresh bail application is now scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, 7 May 2026. This marks another important step forward in the long legal battle that has kept our leader in detention for months.
This development has brought renewed hope and cautious optimism to millions of supporters who have been praying tirelessly for Mallam’s freedom. Despite the heavy pressure and repeated legal maneuvers, Mallam walked into court today with the same remarkable strength, dignity, and composure he has shown throughout this entire persecution.
