Today, I want to make a peaceful appeal to the authorities regarding the former Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, and others currently being held over political differences.
I kindly urge that they be released. In a healthy society, people should not be detained simply because they belong to a different political party or hold different beliefs from the government in power. Let us focus on unity, respect for human rights, and building a democratic nation where every voice matters.
