There’s general outrage globally following President Donald Trump’s action of sharing a video screen grab which depicted former President Barack Obama and Former First Lady as Monkeys.
At first it was thought that pranksters cloned President Trump’s social media handle to pull a stunt. However when it became clear that the video was from the President’s verified social media Truth Account it was met with universal Condemnation with some describing it as out and out racism.
@The White House attempted a damage control with the Press Secretary attributing it to an error from staff members. According to her , ‘Staff members Erroneously made the post and used it on the President’s handle erroneously.’
However, it has generated bipartisan Condemnation with Republicans saying it’s wrong and offensive.
The post was deleted after 12 hours but the damage had been done.
