The old order is staggering under its own weight as new forces gather like a rising storm over a tired, battered landscape. This is not just political motion; it is a deep spiritual tremor , a sign that the heavens are preparing to rewrite a nation’s destiny.
2027 is not creeping in gently; it is rising like a volcanic sunrise. It arrives with the thunder of history pressing forward,demanding the birth of a new order. A people long suffocated by misgovernance now inhale the possibility of fresh air. Every shift in the political atmosphere speaks to a divine choreography, a movement orchestrated beyond human hands.
A few days ago, I received a call from Africa’s walking political archive, Senator Rowland Stephen Owie , former Member of the House of Representatives in the Second Republic, Deputy Chief Whip of that House, and pioneer Chief Whip of the Senate in the Fourth Republic. His voice, seasoned by decades of political warfare, carried clarity rooted in experience.
After a long silence, he said:
“My son, the ADC is no longer a whisper; it is becoming the wind.”
A prophetic utterance.
A revolutionary declaration.
A national awakening.
In that sentence, one could feel destiny pushing through the cracks of Nigeria’s broken political landscape.
Thomas Paine once said:
“We have it in our power to begin the world over again.”
Nigeria stands in such a moment , one that distinguishes nations that rise from those that sink into generational regret.
Before the regional winds speak, the nation must confront a seismic truth: more than 80% of the original Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) , the engine that produced President Muhammadu Buhari has moved into the ADC. This is not just a political migration; it is a collapse of confidence in the ruling order and a national yearning for a platform untouched by corruption and decay.
This northern mobilisation converges with the expanding commitment of key southern figures. Their contributions strengthen regional trust, widen bridges between diverse blocs, deepen ideological clarity, and broaden the ADC’s acceptability from the creeks to the hinterlands. Their influence stabilizes the evolving movement, giving confidence to stakeholders without overshadowing the collective momentum.
This alignment injects credibility into the opposition, expands regional reach, energises grassroots bases, and reinforces the moral urgency of national renewal. These leaders represent the quiet strength of a political transition driven not by noise but by wisdom, integrity, and strategic clarity.
This is why the wind is gathering into a storm. This is why ADC’s rise is tectonic. This is why the ruling elite trembles for no earthly structure can restrain a movement backed by both grassroots hunger and divine timing.
In the North East, ancestral home of H.E. Atiku Abubakar, ADC ward cells are emerging. Youth blocs are organising. Women are aligning. Communities awaken to a platform untainted by rust and rot. The region seeks to correct the political injury of 2023 and reclaim dignity through a redemptive 2027.

“Life can only be understood backwards, but it must be lived forwards.”
The North East understands 2023 and prepares to correct it.
The North Central, under Senator David Mark, the Interim National Chairman of the ADC, rises as the command centre of mobilisation.From Benue to Plateau, Kogi to Niger, Nasarawa to Kwara, the ADC builds a structured architecture. David Mark’s gravitas, discipline, and national stature give the movement a stabilising anchor.

“It always seems impossible until it is done.”
The North West begins to shift. Grassroots blocs multiply. Youth agitation intensifies. Northern Christian minorities reject the injustices of the present administration. With 80% of CPC structures now absorbed by ADC, Tinubu’s northern fortress quietly collapses.

“Sometimes people hold a core of rage that history has not yet given them the moment to express.”2027 is that moment.
In the South South, H.E .Right Honourable Rotimi Amaechi,Senator Ehigie Uzamere, Prof. Oserheimen Osunbor, and Senator Rowland Owie form a formidable axis of political wisdom and institutional depth.Their combined influence, ideological clarity, and historical foresight expand ADC’s coastal momentum, turning the region into a theatre of awakening and strategic rebirth.

The South South seeks that freedom and finds its voice in the ADC’s emergence.
The South West, under Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola , Interim National Secretary of the ADC and Dr. Ajadi, Interim Deputy National Chairman, becomes the intellectual and organisational headquarters.This is the region where ideas, strategy, mobilisation, and political engineering converge to shape a national path forward.

“Progress is impossible without change…”
The South West has changed its mind and its direction.
The South East enters the national conversation carrying legitimate demands for equity, inclusion, and political justice. They seek assurances, not tokenism; partnership, not patronage.
Above all:
If Atiku emerges as ADC presidential candidate, which is more than certain,the Vice Presidential candidate must be a deeply credible Christian figure from Southern Nigeria , one accepted by the South West, South East, South South and the North; one capable of galvanising energy for ADC’s victory.This is not emotion; it is electoral mathematics and strategic necessity.
Proverbs 24:6 declares:
“For by wise counsel thou shalt wage thy war.”
The lessons of 2023 are clear: elections are not won by popularity alone but by precision, structure,narrative dominance, and strategic alliances.
Media must carry fire.
Narratives must carry urgency.Truth must burn through propaganda.

2027 will not be an election;
it will be a national awakening , the moment a wounded nation rises to reclaim its soul.
