Matilda Ngbaronye quintessential police super personnel decorated to a new rank of CSP by CP Lagos State -Ishola Olanrewaju.

The commissioner of police Lagos state CP Ishola Olanrewaju has yesterday 8 January 2025 doctorated chief superintendent of police Matilda Umiah Ngbaronye and other newly promoted senior police officers at the police officers mess Ikeja GRA Lagos state.
The decoration came on the heels of recent promotion of 1348 CSPs by police service commission on Wednesday 18 December 2024.
Matilda the quintessential police super personel whose joy knows no bounds was decorated to her new rank as chief superintendent of police, her promotion came as a result of her consistent efforts to fighting crime and her leadership policing style.
Matilda during her present role as the divisional police officer of Iponri police division, was able to investigate, unravel and burst criminal hideout and brought all the culprits to prosecution, some of the mind blowing case was when she arrested 4 suspected robbers, the suspect upon their arrest, confessed to being member of a robbery syndicate operatiing within constain and its environs, another one was the bursting and unraveling the case of a popular interstate child kidnapping, and many others to mention but a few.
During her former role as the divisional police officer Ilupeju division,she was loved and commended by residents of the community for her leadership style of policing, ensuring that everyone under her watch were able to sleep with their two eyes closed, working in lines with the 21st century ways of policing.
CSP Matilda is also a firm believer of human rights advocates, she believed that rights of every individuals should be respected at all cost, including that of the police, it must not be tempered with, but must be accorded with great respect and responsibilities
The news decorated Chief superintendent of police CSP Matilda Umiah Ngbaronye embodied with great wisdom and leadership qualities has the capacity to take her new division to another level of modern policing to fighting crimes to it’s baerest minimum
CSP Matilda Umiah Ngbaronye was former public information officer, Africa Union mission in somalia, former deputy PPRO, Lagos state command, former DPO, Ilupeju police division and currently DPO Iponri police division.
The ceremony in attendance has the top ranking police officers, family members and wel wishers to celebrate the accomplishments of the newly promoted.
