Airpeace, a renowned Nigerian airlineπ, named some of its aircraft “Ojochide.” The word “Ojochide” is derived from the Igala language, spoken by the Igala people of Kogi State, Nigeria. In Igala, “Ojochide” means “God is my guardian or protector.”
The CEO of Airpeace, Chief Allen, hails from Anambra State, while his wife Alice Ojochida Onyema is from the Igala community in Kogi State. Their union symbolizes the coming together of different cultures and backgrounds.
