mixed reactions have trailed the appointment of Baze University Vice Chancellor, Professor Tahir Mamman as a minister by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Tahir Mamman is considered as a staff of Peter Obi’s running mate, Datti Ahmed who owns Baze University based in Abuja.
While this appointment could be a result of Professor Mamman’s competency and relationship with the president, many have accused Obi’s running mate of having a hand in the appointment and indirectly becoming part of APC’s government despite the political difference.
